West Ham striker Michail Antonio has been involved in a car accident, the club have confirmed.
A statement from West Ham on Saturday afternoon read: “West Ham United can confirm that striker Michail Antonio has today been involved in a road accident.
“The thoughts and prayers of everyone at the club are with Michael, his family and friends at this time.
“The club will issue an update in due course.”
Antonio, 34, has played 15 games in all competitions this season, including 11 starts in the Premier League.
He featured in West Ham's 3-1 defeat to Leicester in midweek, coming on as a second-half substitute.
West Ham are expected to play against Wolves on Monday.
