To tide you over until Thursday, however, Gunn released a small clip of what appears to be the film's main theme. You can check it out for yourself above, the audio along with a GIF-type of David Corenswet's Superman flying up, the theme playing as he does so. And it is very beautiful! Very lean, nostalgic vibe to it, and you don't have to listen too closely to hear that it has a callback to the main theme of a 1978 film directed by Richard Donner, actually made amazing by the one and only John Williams.

This new theme will be made by John Murphy, a composer who has several classics under his belt such as 28 Days Later, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and The Suicide Squad 2021, which Gunn also directed; this is the third film the pair have worked on together, as Murphy also scored Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
After this week's teaser trailer, however, you still have a bit of a wait, as Superman isn't due out until July 11 next year. I am sure you will manage!
