Christmas cheer is not in stock so far, as the negative impact this week continues to run its course. S&P 500 futures are now down 0.8% as we see one-way traffic since European traders got to their desks today.
Dow futures are down 0.6% and Nasdaq futures are also down 1.2% right now. In Europe itself, it is still a sea of red as well. The DAX is down 1.4% and the CAC 40 is down 1.2% on the day. The UK FTSE is also down but less attractive, currently down 0.6%.
A more hawkish Fed was a key driver but don't discount the impact of longer-term Treasury yield increases in all of this.

- DAX -3.4%
