It looks like one of the Game Pass updates next year will bring us classic bangers, especially those of us who grew up playing shooters on the Xbox 360/PS3 generation. The latest leak is another indication of Microsoft's continued interest in expanding the service's lineup with classic, back-catalogue titles from its many studios.
This time, Xbox is pulling out the deep well Activision Blizzard.

According to an insider and eXputer writereXtas1s, Call of Duty: World at Warapart from Singularity both are on their way to Game Pass. EXtas1s have a good track record when it comes to this type of leak.
The messenger shared a screenshot of World at War on the Microsoft Store, which is how PC games will be available when part of PC Game Pass. It's highly unlikely that Activision just plans to start selling the PC version through theregionalV. The most likely scenario is that it is preparing for a Game Pass announcement.
Since the line between console and PC is almost the same, it stands to reason that World at War will also arrive on Xbox Game Pass at the same time. Interestingly, the listing doesn't show Performance support, although that may be needed at this point.
World at War is, of course, best remembered for introducing the Zombies mode to Call of Duty. The co-op survival mode started out as something of an Easter Egg meant to be played by a small number of people, but has since become a staple of Treyarch games. Zombies has also made its way into non-Treyarch developed Call of Duty games, too, and is considered a mainstay of the series today.
The other classic Xbox 360 shooter part of the same leak is Singularity, Raven Software's 2010 sci-fi shooter that is much more valuable today than it ever was when it came out. The bad news? It seems that the two games will not join the line before May. That's almost halfway into 2025. It's likely we'll even see another Call of Duty in Game Pass before then, but that's all we'll have to go on for now.
