2.50 Chepstow – Monbeg Genius and Galia Des Liteaux at the head of National Wales
All eyes will be on Chepstow for the Welsh Grand National and many will be hoping to go ahead as current favourites. Genius Monbeg who was last seen finishing third at Haydock behind the reins Collonges fountain. It will be much more suitable for the run and could run a crack off a signal without change.
A classic floor Galia Des Liteaux represents the Skeltons and is now 4lb under her eighth Grand National and could land the trainer and jockey duo with their first success in this race.
Irish runner Where It All Began & Sam Thomas' Jubilee Express completed the shortlist in what looks to be a competitive field.
1.40 Chepstow – French runner Nietzsche Has eyes the man to beat
Marcel Rolland Nietzsche is last run before standing as a National Hunt stallion. He was an interesting sight earlier in the year after securing the three-timer which included defeating Willy De Houelle & Sony Bill who has since gone to Champion Trainer Willie Mullins that and his second in the Grade 1 Prix Cambaceres sets the standard here.
Eight seeks the four-timer after beating stablemate Ambiente Amigo at Newbury and will ensure this is run at a strong level. Hott Fuss could hit the frame.
1.05 Chepstow – Exeter Lowry's Bar winner bids to follow
Micheal Nolan gets a good tune from the forward Lowry's Bar who was excellent on his first pursuit when he finished second behind Jagwar at Bangor-on-Dee. It was no surprise to see him build on that performance when he won at Exeter last time out and he is looking to take another step forward today for Phillip Hobbs and Johnson White.
