A severe winter storm that hit the mid-Atlantic US states on Monday caused federal offices and public schools in Washington, DC, to close for the day. The DC Snowball Fight Association took the opportunity to transform a public park into 'The Great Meridian Chill Battle of 2025,' inviting residents to come out and throw some snowballs at each other.
