If you're like me, you've probably at one point wondered how much money a PC gamer has with a PC subscription. Game pass really save. It turns out that the figure is quite large, with the total dollar value of games added to the service in 2024 coming to just under $5,000.
This was produced by one Jamie Hore over at PCGamesNwho downloaded the 137 games added to the service in 2024, gave their dollar value at the time they were added, and found that the total amount came to $4,812.63. For clarity, the price of a full year of PC Game Pass is around $143. That's a lot of money saved.

Now obviously, there are caveats. This figure assumes that you, the hypothetical PC Game Pass holder, pick up every game added to the service as soon as it becomes available. It also goes without saying that you only save money on the games you play. It doesn't matter to me if I can play Star and save $30, you would have to pay me a lot more.
However, it is a monument to Game Pass' data-backed saving capability. Interesting data too – let's see how much money you could save by the month in the PCGamesN article. April looks to be a big winner with 17 games added to PC Game Pass (five of which were day one releases). On the other hand, December was rather good, with only six games added to the service, two of which were released on the first day. However, even on lean months like December, the savings comes to $214.94. Not stupid at all!
