Body recovered in Gaza identified as 23-year-old Hamzah AlZayadni

The Israeli army confirmed on Friday that one of the bodies recovered from Gaza earlier this week was that of one of the hostages, 23-year-old Hamzah AlZayadni.

His body was recovered with that of his father, Yousef Al-Zayadniwhich was brought together when Hamas-led terrorists invaded southern Israel 15 months ago. His father was quickly identified, and his son's remains were sent for identification.

In recent weeks, it seems that Israel and Hamas are an inch closer to an agreement for a ceasefire and the release of enemies. Palestinians and family members of hostages killed in captivity have been urging the Israeli government and world leaders for a ceasefire agreement.

The Gaza Health Ministry said Thursday that 46,006 Palestinians have been killed and 109,378 wounded in the Israel-Hamas war, with no end in sight. It has been said that women and children were more than half of the deaths, but the ministry does not distinguish between fighters or civilians in its death tolls.

The Israeli military says it has killed more than 17,000 militants, without providing evidence. He blames Hamas for civilian deaths because he says militants are operating in residential areas.

Israeli air and ground operations have driven hundreds of thousands of Palestinians into sprawling tent camps along the coast with limited access to food and other essentials.

The war began when terrorists led by Hamas invaded southern Israel on 7 October 2023, killing around 1,200 people and kidnapping around 250. It is believed that a third of the 100 hostages still in Gaza are dead.
