Recently Minecraft the update fixed some bugs that, as it turns out, parkour players really like, and they want not to implement them.
You'd generally think that bug fixes for games are a good thing, and would be welcomed by players, but that's not always the case. Sometimes players use certain bugs because they allow cool or useful tricks, and Minecraft is one such game that uses such bugs. Without, in Photo 25w02aa couple of bugs have been fixed which is very useful for parkour players and speedbridgers, and now (as shown by PC Games n), a petition on the Minecraft feedback page asks Mojang to revert these changes.

“On behalf of the parkour and sprinting communities, bug fixes MC-271065 and MC-241951 need to be reverted,” said the a petition explain. “These are considered characteristics of many high-level parkour players and speed jumpers, and should be classified as such. Removing the 40% speed boost on the traverse will hurt many mechanics, maps and tactics that depend on it. , both in parkour and speedbridge.
“Such a rework will hurt these communities in the long and short term. This 'bug' has established a habit in these communities, and it will actually affect more than just them. For example , as a user shared here, building a living will be much more tedious, because it will be much slower to place blocks on roofs, for example.”
The creator of the petition goes on to note that they believe there is “no need to implement any of these changes” and that it affects ” casual experience by intentionally moving a player, and it will seriously affect high-level play; that, in turn, will hurt Minecraft's longevity and drive players to older versions.”
Since this is just a visual update, meaning it's not the full thing yet, these changes may not make it to the main game. The petition has nearly 1500 votes, which isn't a huge number in the scheme of things either, but when you look at other feedback posts you'll see it's pretty high in comparison – there's even . another post asking for similar changes who also have very few votes. Good luck I say, speedbridgers!
