At last! The Nintendo Switch 2 is real, it's been revealed, and you can watch it spin around a bit


Good news everyone! After months of rumors and a few leaks, the Nintendo Switch 2 has finally been revealed. Thanks to a post by Nintendo, we finally have a glimpse of what the console looks like. It's like, like Nintendo Switch 2, thank the lord.

In a trailer posted to Twitter and YouTube, we see The Switch 2, rotating a lot, and then with some racing action from the new Mario Kart playing on it, although it looks like that's it there clever games for now. It has a release year of 2025, and a Switch 2-focused Nintendo Direct date of April 2, 2025.

This first video shows the Switch 2 from a variety of angles, showing us stuff like its joy of being black with some color underneath the sticks – there's likely to be a bunch of Switch series and colors 2 offered over. time, but your companions are eating good early doors in front of the eye. There is also a longer stand, and what they could be magnets helping the rulers to go in place.

Towards the end of the video, Nintendo also confirms that the Switch 2 will be able to play physical and digital games from its predecessor, which is nice. There's no price yet, so you can at least appreciate how beautiful the Switch 2 is without having to think about how it'll affect your bank balance.

Before this came out, we knew that the Nintendo Switch 2 would have backwards compatibilityand patent that was published earlier this month showed the industrial giant dipping its toes into AI-powered augmentation technology. Regardless, it's nice to finally see these packaged together in one official presentation, especially after months of speculation.
