Between 60 and 80 people were injured on Friday after a car crashed into an eastern Christmas market German the city of Magdeburg, a spokesman for the local rescue service told AFP.
According to the emergency service, several people were “seriously” injured, the spokesman said. German media reported that one person had died, although that has not yet been confirmed by authorities.
