Oscar Piastri led Lando Norris and McLaren continued their lead in final practice before qualifying for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Piastri was nearly two-tenths quicker than Norris, with Lewis Hamilton third on his final race weekend for Mercedes but 0.390s off the pace which put pressure on McLaren's advantage.
McLaren have one hand on their first Constructors' Championship since 1998, as they lead Ferrari by 21 points heading into the end of the season, and a win on Sunday for either driver would guarantee the title.
Carlos Sainz was the best of the Ferrari's in fifth place, just behind Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc was only ninth. Leclerc, however, has a 10-place grid penalty for a new battery, so it seems he has set up his car more for the race.
Kevin Magnussen led most of the final practice but finished the session eighth, with Haas team-mate Nico Hulkenberg in seventh.
Haas is five points behind Alpine in the battle for sixth place in the Constructors' Championship.
