Good news, Final Fantasy 7 fans who have been waiting Rebirth to come to other platforms, as the JRPG just got a PC release date at Prizes of the Games.
You've all been waiting for it and the time is here: Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is coming to PCand you will be able to pick it up on January 23rd. Square Enix shared the news with a new trailer at The Game Awards, showing how the game looks on the new platform, as well as some of the features that will be unique to this version. This includes: improved lighting, improved textures and modeling, DLSS and VRR, and much more.
It's no surprise that Square Enix has decided to bring Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth to PC, after all that Remake did before it so it would be a bit strange if it decided to h -suddenly not worried. Additionally, earlier this year, after some disappointing sales for Rebirth and 16, Square Enix announced that it was planning shift gears a bit to release its games on as many platforms as possible.

That obviously includes PC, but also Xbox. Unfortunately, there was no word on that front today, but Final Fantasy 14 producer Naoki “Yoshi-P” Yoshida has reaffirming Square Enix's commitment to multi-format releases. And while Rebirth director Naoki Hamaguchi hasn't confirmed anything about a port, e recently said that he loves Xbox as a platformso fingers crossed it will eventually come. Now we just start waiting for Part 3, that is all wrapped up in a story at least.
