An official Dungeons & Dragons ballpoint pen is coming that's a stunner to look at, has a hefty price tag, and features… My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way?

Pinball lovers and Dungeons & Dragons fans alike may be interested in this new, stylish and very expensive pinball machine.

I really love pinball machines – sure they're a bit of a relic of the past, but they've kept going all the same, getting more and more unusual over the years. To be honest, I would love to have one, if I didn't have to spend a lot of money on them. The problem is, I would have to shell out a lot more money to buy a device, especially if I wanted this newly released official Dungeons & Dragons unit. The device, which you can check out in the video below, comes from Stern Pinball, “the largest manufacturer of pinball games in the world,” and it certainly looks like impressive device.

It is an official collaboration with Hasbro and Wizards of the Coastto help follow the TTRPG's 50th anniversary, which will take players on “an epic and exciting journey as they enter the forgotten realms, with iconic enemies, including a red dragon, a cube gelatinous, imitation, Sammaster the lich, Xanathar the seer, and an owl bear, and places including those in Faerûn such as Arabel and Westgate.” In addition, it includes some famous D&D names like Matthew Mercer from Critical Role, Laura Bailey, and Marisha Ray, as well as Luke Gygax, the son of the game's co-creator Gary Gygax.

Gerard Way is the wildest member of the vocal lineup, though. Yes, apparently it's Gerard Way, the guy from My Chemical Romance. No, I don't know why it's there, but if you end up buying one it will be a fun fact to tell people. Oh, talking about buying it, you almost won't be able to, because this thing is expensive.

At a minimum, you have to put up $7000 for the Pro edition, but the Premium version goes up to $9700. More than that, however, is the Limited Edition, which only gets 740 units, costing a ridiculous $13,000. Pretty cool pinball machine, guys, but I think I'll pass on this one.
