Ubisoft has announced that Assassins Creed Shadows canceled again. The open world stealth game was due to arrive in February after its original delay of September 2024but now it won't launch until March 20.

And now there has been a delay again.

On January 9, Ubisoft announced A shadow will now be released on March 20, 2025. In a statement posted online, Ubisoft says it believes these “few extra weeks” are necessary to get feedback from fans. implement and “ensure that the day-one experience is even more positive and engaging.”

Bloomberg added reporter Jason Schreier that Ubisoft says it is looking at “various transformative strategic and capital options to provide the best value for stakeholders,” aka it is looking for someone to buy them. Assassins Creed Shadows is now set to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on March 20, 2025. This is the first game in the franchise to jump to PS4 in over ten years.
