At Diablo 4's end of year event the whole community is chasing Treasure Goblins for great prizes

Diablo 4 ending the best year yet on a high note with one final event that will involve all players. Instead of the usual style of live event, this one features multiple levels that can only be solved through the collective effort of the community.

The objective of this one is to kill as many Treasure Goblins throughout the game's Sanctuary world map.

The Slay Ride to Hell event has a total of five stages. The more Treasure Goblins the Diablo 4 community kills, the higher through the ranks we all get. With each level reached, all players will be able to receive a reward cache from Goblin Square in Kyovashad, and Vessel of Hate owners get more caches.

It all starts tomorrow, December 17th at 10am PT, 1pm ET, 6pm UK. The event will continue into the new year, before ending January 2.

The requirements it might seem a little high at first, but with millions of players contributing to the goal, it's likely to go over very quickly. If levels 3-5 are reached, the in-game shop will also have some limited time cosmetic items. The last tier is obviously the one we all want, as it rewards Resplendent Spark – one of the rarest items in the game.

Blizzard is also bringing back several live events to coincide with the massive Treasure Goblin run. Mother's Blessing, which boosts XP and Gold earned, will be active December 17 to January 2. The bonus, as usual, stacks with elixirs and any other Urns you may have applied to the battle pass.

To make things even more interesting for new and lapsed players, the Spiritborn trial will return 19 December – 3 Januarygiving anyone who doesn't yet own a Vessel of Hatred a chance to try out the new class. You can only take it up to level 25, but it should be enough time to experience the expansion. All your progress will carry over too, if you decide to buy it.

For those who have played Diablo 4 in the past and want one more reason to pick it back up, the Winback Booster is available for up to two characters in the Eternal Realminstantly boosts a character to level 50, unlocks all Altars of Lilith, and even gives you a set of gear that matches a specific building.
