The Atlanta Fed kept the US economic growth estimate for the fourth quarter at 3.1 percent on Thursday, citing recent official data.
“After the two advances sustainable manufacturing report and the new home sale Released from the US Census Bureau, the real growth of real private domestic investment increased in the fourth quarter from 1.2 percent to 1.3 percent,” said Atlanta Fed.
GDPNow is a running estimate of real GDP growth based on the economic data available for the current measurement quarter.
The next GDPNow update is scheduled for January 2, Thursday.
