Balatro is going to be a big day, as is the popular roguelike card game announced in five different categories at the Game Awards tonight. But that's not all, as developer LocalThunk has announced a new collaboration update that brings cards based on eight different games to the fold. It's not a bad reason to restart the game and could lose many more hours of your life.
The third update “Friends of Jimbo” includes new cards based on games from indie lovers like the adventure game Sunset Visitor 1000x againstto bigger names like Larian Studios' Original Sine Theology II. LocalThunk announced the update with a teaser trailer Final Fantasy XVI actor Ben Starr dressed as Jimbo, Balatrois a clown mascot, so if you've ever wanted to hear Clive Rosfield do his best maniacal clown impression, look no further than the full trailer below. Balatro has been overflowing with big games since it became the biggest hit of the year when it launched in February.
