Turns out you will be waiting even longer The Batman: Part 2as the film has caught another year-long delay.
The Batman 2 was supposed to be released in October next year, but back in March the sequel was delayed by a full year, being pushed to October 2026. Sorry to those who are excited about the review, but what's another year? Well, I guess the question I should be asking now is, what's another two years, since Part 2 has been delayed for another whole year, the trip this until October 1, 2027. That means the film will now be released more than five years later. the original, which is very different in time in the comic book movie years.

DC Studio co-leader James Gunn took to Thread it is not uncommon to note long waits for sequels, however, writing “A gap of 5 years or more is quite common in sequels. 7 years between Alien and Aliens. 14 years between Incredibles. 7 years between the first two Terminators. 13 years between Avatars.
The Superman the director also shared Thread the honestly very simple reason the film got delayed so much: the script isn't ready yet. “The only reason for the delay is that there is no full script (those of you who follow me here may already know). Once a script is ready, it takes about two years for pre-production, shooting and post-production on big films.”
It's obviously not ideal for those desperate for more from Reeves' take on Batman, but it's better to have a good script than a rushed one. Besides, most DC fans will have their eyes on Superman right now, especially after got its first trailer earlier this month.
