Prepare yourselves, parents, as blue is making its way to the big screen, but don't worry, it's not out for a couple of years.
Ever since he arrived in 2018, you won't be able to spend a single second with a child without Bluey cropping up in some shape or form. It has been a hit with children, although it has also been popular with their parents and adults in general. The series has become so popular, in fact, that the BBC and Disney mentioned that Bluey gets an animated feature filmin 2027, so you've got a while to wait for it (and by then your kids might have grown out of it so you might have to go to the cinema without them and let you're not crying over this one despite the fact that literally every other adult will be too (and there's nothing wrong with that, stay true to you)).

The film is being written and directed by creator Joe Brumm, with Melanie Zanetti and David McCormack returning to voice Chilli and Bandit Heeler respectively, along with other members of the series. In particular, it will also be a CG animated film, so it is clear that there will be a very different vibe than the usual 2D look in the series.
Brumm said in a statement that he “thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working with a longer format on 'The Sign' in Series 3, so going even further with a feature film is felt like a natural extension of that. I always thought 'Bluey' deserved a theatrical film.
On the slightly sadder side of things, however, Brumm also announced that after the film Don't engage in Bluey's writing anymorewith The Sign being the last thing he worked on the TV front. To be clear, the show isn't ending (you don't have to break any bad news to your kids), so you might be looking forward to more episodes eventually.
