Brazilian federal police arrested former defense minister Braga Netto on Saturday on suspicion of obstructing the investigation into the 2022 impeachment attempt to impeach President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. A police report in November recommended the conviction of former president Jair Bolsonaro and several dozen allies, including Netto.
