An Italian journalist has been held in Iran for more than a week, the Italian government said on Friday, describing the detention of Cecilia Clara as “unacceptable”. Cecilia Sala, 29, who works for Il Foglio newspaper and podcast company Chora Media, is being held in solitary confinement in Tehran's notorious Evin prison, according to her employer.
