The first DLC pack is coming to Dragon Ball: Spoiling! Zero has been properly released, and fans may not be surprised that it is based on the latest film.
While Dragon Ball may currently have a new anime in the form of Daima, it's technically a sequel to the original Z series, set before the events of Super. Currently the longest entry in the series is Super Hero, the 3D animated film focusing on Gohan and Piccolo that gave them powerful new forms. Fans of the film have been hoping that these forms would come to the game for a while, as it was already confirmed that a couple of characters from it, Gamma 1 and 2, would appear. And now a new trailer released by Bandai Namco this week has revealed all the characters coming in the first DLC pack, which includes Orange Piccolo and Beast form Gohan.
The trailer confirmed the addition of 11 playable characters, four for Gohan which includes his new base form, Super Saiyan form, final form, and the aforementioned Beast form. Piccolo makes up four of them as well, with a new base, powered up, Orange form, and even the giant Orange form he takes to try and beat Cell Max. Speaking of which, there is also Cell Max, and like Great Ape Vegeta and other characters, he is also extremely large. And, as previously confirmed, Gamma 1 and 2 are also playable, with their onomatopoeic effect sounds appearing during combat. I'm sure that Gohan and Piccolo will be very strong, so I can't wait to see them used constantly online.
It doesn't look like any story material is being added, but it does get at least three new custom battles. You'll also get Piccolo's Red Ribbon soldier costume as a costume, and Bandai also said “that's not all” but it's not particularly clear what that means. Anyway, those with the season pass will get the DLC three days early on January 20th, so you just have to wait until tomorrow to play it now. Great happy!
