Get ready for a radically changed Formula 1 grid in 2025 when the final season of the sport's current rules era is set for another 24-race tour around the world, all live Sky Sports F1.
Next season's calendar features a record 24 Grands Prix for the second consecutive year although this time it starts in Melbourne, Australia on March 16 with Albert Park hosting its first season opener since 2019.
With Ramadan taking place during the month of March in 2025, both Bahrain – which had hosted the previous four season-openers – and Saudi Arabia will move to April where they will host the fourth and the fifth round respectively on April 13 and April 20.
The season runs again until December, with Abu Dhabi downsizing the current generation of cars and engines ahead of the 2026 major overhaul on 7 December.
There will once again be six Sprint weekends with the 100km Saturday race in 2025 – with Belgium replacing Austria as host of the alternate format along with China, Miami, Austin, Brazil and Qatar again.
As it stands, just three teams will field their starting line-up in 2024 – with Lewis Hamilton's switch to Ferrari arguably the most anticipated driver move of all time.
