As you can see in the trailer below, a bunch of new cards – with Mew, Aerodactyl, and Celebi among the previous ones – will be available in the new Mythical Island expansion pack, which will provide the fourth a nice option for those who have already packed ten million Doduos (Doduos, Dodui, who knows?).
“The Mythical Island expansion features over 80 cards, including five exciting new Pokémon cards, five new trainer cards, and gorgeous immersion cards ready to introduce you to the wonderful world of Pokémon,” read a description the trailer.
There's also a new cover for binders and display boards that bring you Mythical Island scenery, so you can send your little group's mythical animal slave gladiators on a mini-vacation – or make them pretend to be one, which seems to be more on brand for Pokemon's taste of weird sugariness, which is a bit morally questionable if you think about it for more than five minutes.
Do you like the Pokemon to be immortal creatures that are enslaved and forced to fight to the death in card colosseums? I don't know, but The Pokemon Company also announced that TCG Pocket's has now crossed the 60 million download mark, so I'm not going to argue too much, because that's a lot of people to p**s off. It includes me too, so I would be worrying myself, which is far too meta.
