The second season Indian Premier League (ISPL) saw an exciting auction in Mumbai on Wednesday, as teams strengthened their squads with talented players from across India.
350 players from 55 cities participated in the auction, with teams fighting for the best talent. Special selections included Abhishek Kumar Dalhorwhich was acquired by Majhi Mumbai for an eye-watering ₹ 20.50 lakh and Ketan Mathrewho joined Chennai Singams for ₹ 17.25 lakh.
The IPL-style auction generated excitement as teams like Tigers of Kolkata and Falcon Risers Hyderabad made strategic acquisitions to strengthen their squads. The tournament, which is scheduled to take place from January 26 to February 15, 2025, promises to be a spectacle of skill and entertainment.
Starring Bollywood celebrities like Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor as team owners, the ISPL is ready to enthrall audiences with its unique blend of cricket and entertainment.
