Hi Koura – Toni Kroos, former midfielder of Real Madrid and Germany, was chosen as Sports Personality of the Year by the German magazine Sports Illustrated magazine.
Kroos ended his football career in the summer of 2024 after helping Real Madrid win the Spanish League, the Spanish Super Cup and the Champions League.
He also participated with the German national team in the 2024 European Championship, where the team reached the quarter-finals.
This award reflects recognition for his contribution to the world of football, with Kroos also shortlisted for FIFPro's Squad of the Year.
