The battle between Sam Konstas and Jasprit Bumrah started on day 4 of the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne. While Konstas won the first battle in the first innings, Bumrah came back hard with a perfect inswinger to break the youngster's stumps.
After picking up the wicket, Bumrah was pumped up and celebrated in a unique way. Konstas did a similar celebration with the crowd when India lost wickets in their first innings.

Marnus Labuschagne talks about the problems with Jasprit Bumrah
Marnus Labuschagne arrived at the press conference on behalf of Australia after the fourth day of play in Melbourne. He praised Jasprit Bumrah for his relentless performance with the ball and revealed why he was so good in this series.
“Jasprit Bumrah's bowling in every game has been pretty good. He's just relentless. He just bowls lengths relentlessly, attacks the stumps with that right angle with it his activity and it is difficult to navigate,” Labuschagne told reporters.
Labuschagne also spoke about the problems that batsmen face when facing a bowler like Bumrah and says that he finds ways to get the better of him through unique methods.
“Obviously as a batsman, it's difficult to start your innings and I'm finding a way to go through his spells. We've obviously improved as the Test series has gone on. He has been very good in this series,” he said.
Sam Konstas got under the skin of Jasprit Bumrah: Marnus Labuschagne
Marnus Labuschagne was also asked about the ongoing battle between Jasprit Bumrah and Sam Konstas. Labuschagne spoke about Bumrah's celebration and felt that Konstas had gotten under the skin of India's premier fast bowler. He praised Konstas for being fearless and confident and said he loves competition.
“I'm pretty sure the young lad got under his skin a little bit. I certainly get angry when my own little bowlers get me back. So, I'd say there was a chance but that's done with,” said Labuschagne.
“Sam (Konstas) is a very confident young player.

The battle between Jasprit Bumrah and Sam Konstas started on Day 1 of the Melbourne Test. Konstas surprisingly attacked Bumrah and played unorthodox shots to stop his rhythm. He did so successfully as Bumrah went quick in his opening spells.
Konstas played a scoop for four and backed it up with a six back. In the next over, he hit Bumrah for the second six in the space of a few balls. The 19-year-old opener was fearless in his Test debut and smashed a blistering 60 off 65 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes.
Meanwhile, Marnus Labuschagne top scored for Australia in the second innings with a fine 70 off 139 balls This was his second fifty in the game after 72 in the first innings.
