Eyes a 2006 game of the year winner that never failed to sell to its credit. It's only fitting then, if it's still completely bonkers, that a sequel goes to the The Legend of Zelda-an exciting adventure game would be nominated at this year's Game Awards. A musical mix on the stage revealed that we are getting Eyes 2 from the original director nearly two decades later.
What made gamers fall in love with the original game back in the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii days was its fascinating art inspired by Japanese folklore and its innovative painting mechanics in the players simulated brush strokes across the screen to solve puzzles and fight enemies. There has never been anything like it since then, until now.
It was directed by Hideki Kamiya as part of Clover Studio. A Capcom veteran, he also directed it before Resident evil 2 new and Devil May Cry. After the game was released, he and other creative directors at the company left to found Platinum Games where he made the Bayonetta series and other action games. At the Game Awards, Keighley revealed that Kamiya has returned to Capcom to lead a new studio called Clovers that is working on the sequel.

When I left PlatinumGames, I really had no other plans. After I quit, I spent some time just laying around watching movies and TV shows. But when I started thinking about it, I found out that I already had a clear idea of a game I would like to make. I can't begin to implement these ideas yet, but I have started thinking about ways to make it happen. That said, making games rarely goes as planned, so I want to explore my options and find the path that works best for me. .”
In the years since its release, Eyes a spiritual agent was called walk on the Nintendo DS and later an HD port currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. We still don't know much about Okami 2 and it looks like it could still be in its early days. The original game was so special and fans have waited so long that I'm sure they'll be happy to sit patiently for a few more years to play the sequel.
