A man was shot and killed inside an apartment building in Oshawa on Tuesday, Durham police said.
Duty Insp. Craig McCabe said at a press conference later that day. The address is an apartment building.
Officers found a man with a gunshot wound, McCabe said, adding that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
McCabe said police believed the shooting occurred inside the building, but could not say where.
A forensics unit is now processing the scene while authorities canvass the area for more information and is expected to be there for “a long time,” McCabe said.
The police did not give further details about the victim.
