RBA bull: I don't know if we are going to cut rates in February

• We cannot give an accurate account of what may be cutting us rates in February
• There are many configurations in the data that could lead us in that direction
• But honestly it is not known if the rate cut will be cut
• You have to look at the data and be data driven
• We are looking to move things on schedule
• If so, we would be there at some point to discuss a rate cut
• But I can't give an exact time for that

Again, she's not saying they're continuing to cut rates already in February but she's not completely ruling it out either. This will keep the aussie currency on edge over the next couple of months. The RBA will meet again on February 18 and between now and then we will get a couple of jobs data (December 12, January 16), monthly CPI data (January 7, January 29), and quarterly CPI data (January 29).
