Very good, right? The modders behind the project certainly think so, having released a new progress update/roadmap video just as the calendar turned into the new year.

In this video, the team confirms that, so far, the mod is still on track to meet the 2025 release target that it has had for quite some time now. No definite month or date has been written in yet, but with the big fun mod Fallout: London released last year (by multiple delays it wasn't just the fault of the devs), you can understand the A shield Not many want to fully commit to a specific date at this point.
So, where are things with the project. Well, when it comes to the “biggest task” of the mod, there's only one thing left to complete. “We're finishing the world map, and only the Nibenay area on Cyrodiil's eastern border remains to be finished”, says the video's narrator, adding: “Despite the Oblivion map almost 1/3 the size of the Skyrim map, we've been working to make it. The whole map is sure to be unique, with hand-crafted details though.”
While eight of the mod's nine map regions have been fully designed, the team is still working on such navigation for these areas, with the video going through the progress of each one and describes some points that the devs have worked to do. special extras, like exploring the Cloud Ruler Temple.
Skyblivion's devs are still busy with plenty of interiors, and are currently “prioritizing quest spaces that require more time and concept versus generic interiors” at the moment. has completed three areas of Oblivion that you can visit, with the video saying that “if time permits, we will add more, to complete the list of random realms the player could enter when closing a gate Oblivion multiply.
I don't know about you, but that sounds like something with plenty of potential for fun hijinks. Finally, there are only six quests that the team hasn't started working on yet, so that part is coming together nicely as well. In addition, the team also mentioned adding DLCs – such as the Shivering Islands – saying that they will look into how this could be handled once the main mode out.
