The big event of the anime JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is coming next year, and fans have confirmed for themselves that the next part of the series is finally changing.

Don't get too excited yet, JoJo's Strange Adventure fans, but an anime event scheduled for next year is asking if the next part is on the way.

The thing about being a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fan is that it's a painful life. It's already been two years since Part 6, with Jolyne Kujo as the titular JoJo of that part, wrapped up, and that took three years to come out after Part 5. From the end of Part 6 many fans have been waiting, uh, patiently, I'll say, for news about a change to Part 7. And although nothing has been announced yet, the official Japanese Twitter account for the anime JoJo has announced that an event that will connect fans in both the past and the future of the series' anime adaptation will be held next year, April 12.

Now, as exciting as JoJoDay (yes, that's what they call it, as it should be) it could be, it's obviously not a confirmation that Part 7, called Steel Ball Run, is getting a change. However, you just have to check the responses to understand that Japanese and western fans alike have confirmed to themselves that the release of the Steel Ball Run anime is on its way. While JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a very popular series, many fans have been enjoying Part 7 onwards, as it was essentially a reboot of the entire manga, takes place in a new universe by taking turns taking over several 'JoJo's' parts.

Steel Ball Run follows Johnny Joestar, a former jockey who can no longer race after being shot, and Gyro Zeppeli, a mysterious man who can use a mysterious ability called Spin. It's pretty wild stuff, even for JoJo, and I'm personally hoping for an anime release as well, but we've got a few months to wait, and until then I'll just keep the openings show on loop in. the background.
