Dan Skelton is three-handed in this with Benny's King, Real Stone and Salamanca Bay with Harry Skelton choosing to ride Real Stone who was well respected last season when he won big. Or Ris Des Flos an exciting runner for an in-form team in Olly Murphy & Sean Bowen.
12.40 Plumpton – Epic West and Touquet ready to take punishment
Jamie Snowden looks to have a good team of hurdlers this season and Epic West fits that shaft. He was bought from the point-to-point range and made a fine debut at Carlisle when he scored seven lengths. He found it generously up the Carlisle hill and will be dangerous on the front end today in this Dawson Hart Gallop Novices' Hurdle.
Touquet a course and distance winner on debut over hurdles and was tried in deeper waters at Ascot when found out in trip. He will be back down to two miles for Paul Nicholls today and will surely return to form after that disappointment. Andashan he has two good runs to his name, winning well at Kempton before finishing third behind the smart horse Nicholls. If it goes to obstacles it will be dangerous.
2.10 Plumpton – Lady Balko looks to remain unbeaten over course and distance
Lady Balko started when she won for the first time over fences last time out over course and distance and looks to follow it up. She did everything on the front and despite a few new mistakes on the way around she found enough to win well. David Pipe gave her a similar hurdle campaign last season and she raced successfully.
Town master bounced back from a disappointing break last time out but had made it five wins in a row for Warren Greatrex. He returns for this GEWhite & Sons Agricultural Properties Access, and will be looking to get back on track today.
Northern poet was last seen finishing second to veteran Copperhead and has been in wind surgery ever since.
