President-elect Donald Trump he said he spoke on the phone with the President of China Xi Jinping on Friday about TikTok, fentanyl, trade and more.
“The call was very good for both China and the US,” Trump said in a Post Truth Social.
“I expect that we will solve many problems together, and starting immediately,” said the president-elect, who is to be sworn in on Monday.
“We talked about Trade balance, Fentanyl, TikTok, and many other topics. President Xi and I will do everything I can to make the World more peaceful and safer!” Trump wrote.
Trump's conversation with Xi about TikTok came as the Supreme Court is expected to issue a decision soon on whether to uphold a federal law that would effectively ban the popular video-sharing app in the SA
