Be careful out there, Sonic fans, as spoilers for the third film have apparently hit the Internet.
Look, I'm not the biggest stickler for spoilers in the world, but they're still kind of annoying from time to time, and especially if it's for a movie that hasn't even come out. There is a lot of joy in being surprised by something! And if you're in for a treat like me, you might want to stay clear of anything related to our good friend Sonic the Hedgehogas spoilers for the third film seem to have made their way online. I'm not going to link to it, but I've seen a video shared around the movie's post credits scene, which doesn't necessarily spoil the movie itself since the first couple of movies are just being used for to organize the next one, but still something best seen in the cinema.

From what I've seen that's the only major spoiler floating around, though it might still be worth blurting out some general Sonic-related terms in case you're particularly averse the spoiler. You only have four days to wait, as the film is released worldwide this Friday, December 20, and the official Sonic the Hedgehog movie Twitter account has even said that you should not be “disappointed to do” by sharing spoilers. You wouldn't want to do that now, would you?

Last month director Jeff Fowler even specifically went out of his way to check out the post-credits scene for this third filmand earlier this month the film's producers confirmed that there will be even more than one of them – I can't tell you which one of them has been shared online, maybe all of them, so again, it's best to stay off the internet for a few days. I'm sure you haven't managed to 100% complete Sonic x Shadow Generations yet so why not give that a go in the meantime.
