Anthony Pompliano, renowned venture capitalist, podcaster and Bitcoiner, has shared data that shows the probability, or rather, the expectation of the new US president raising the Bitcoin Reserve pre- innovation for the country in 2025 has seen a significant increase.
This tweet was published while Bitcoin rose briefly to touch the $106,000 price mark. That was followed by a slight pullback, and the world's largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization is now changing hands at $103,120 per coin. This means a decline of 2.71% within several hours today.

Over the past 24 hours, the price of Bitcoin has increased by around 4%, coming very close to the $106,000 level and showing an increase of 16.90% over the last week – from $90,660 to $105,932.
It happened as there was speculation about a new presidential administration in the US and the plans of the newly elected political leader to give the green light to the creation of a BTC strategic reserve for the country and start its construction this year.
According to a screenshot from the Kalshi betting market, the probability of its occurrence has reached an all-time high of 70%.
Another main factor that has increased the price of Bitcoin so high is the approach of Donald Trump's inauguration day, which will be January 20, Monday next week.

The US government could sell 70,000 BTC
As reported earlier, the US Department of Justice (DOJ) has recently received court approval to sell the 69,370 BTC given by the Silk Road hacker in 2020.
The sale has not happened yet, but the US government may receive $7,152,699,078 in exchange for this crypto. Many crypto fans, however, hope that the newly elected US president Donald Trump will block the possible sale and keep that huge amount of Bitcoin for the a strategic reserve he plans to build.
