Viddal Riley and Isaac Chamberlain will finally meet in a highly anticipated British cruiserweight showdown on February 1, live on Sky Sports.
A domestic feud has been brewing for some time as the pair brace for what could be a defining night in their career paths.
Riley extended his perfect professional record to 12-0 on Saturday night as he defeated heavyweight Dan Garber on the undercard of Natasha Jonas' unification clash with Ivana Habazin in Liverpool.
Chamberlain meanwhile is 16-3 after suffering a unanimous decision loss to Jack Massey at Crystal Palace's Selhurst Park in June.
“The paths have joined now, we can talk, we can fight, it's like good business,” Riley said after Saturday's victory.
The two share notable unanimous decisions against Mikael Lawal, Riley famously overcoming a rib injury en route to a major win in March earlier this year.
Riley's development seems to have piqued the interest of YouTube star Jake Paul as much as the Londoner's own social media presence, but the 27-year-old has long insisted he wants prioritizing domestic and, eventually, world titles. Chamberlain would go as the last step towards that.
For Chamberlain, it's a chance to issue a statement response to his stoppage against Massey as he looks to work his way back towards the biggest names in the weight division a sea ship
