Today will be a synthetic Sunday as we have nothing on the agenda. It was the main event for today Chinese CPI a report that showed once again that reduction forces are still in place and if the Chinese officials do not continue to discount strongly, there is a risk of Japanization because real rates are still too high.
The main event of the week is of course the US CPI report on Wednesday and we should get there without too much worry as only the RBA rate decision comes before the CPI release. As a reminder, there is no Fedspeak this week as the Fed is in the blackout period until their decision next Wednesday.
Wishing you all a productive week!
