Who doesn't love a battle pass? Well, I hope so if you plan to jump in Call of duty black ops 6and Squid Game crossover event, a starting todayJanuary 3, and will run until January 24.
You see, technically it comes with not one, but two battle passes, a normal one and a premium one, all full of goodies that let you know who you're about to shoot in your face you like TV shows about red light, green light. Is that too much battle over for even the die-hard CoD crowd who are used to warpasses by now? Well, it seems that depends on who you ask.

First, the deets. As the blog post announcing the release of the event, it includes such as a new multiplayer mode Red Light, Green Light, and its inevitable brother zombies, Dead Light, Green Light.
As you fight your way through games, you'll progress through the Squid Game Event Pass – which has two different paths to it. There's a regular free one, and a premium one, which costs 1,100 COD Points, which equates to $9.99/£8.39. The premium one includes stuff like the “Front Man” operator as his ultimate mastery reward, while the free one includes a couple of Squid Game player operator skins, which as well as other good things.

“While all players can advance and unlock items on the free reward track, a second Premium reward track in the Event Pass offers even more,” Activision writes , “Purchase the Premium path to gain access to the ability to unlock additional themed rewards, including an instant 'High Authority' reward XM4 Assault Rifle Blueprint as well as Blueprints for the Knife, GS45 Pistol, and Saug SMG plus a Concussion Grenade Gear Skin, a finishing move, the 'Throwdown' Emote, the 'Who's Left' talking gun screen, and more!”
Are players happy with the idea that this is something for the first time. Well, enough on Twitter and Reddit They are not with one user on the latter joking: “We got battle passes between battle passes now.”
On the other hand, some players seem to be happy to write off this premium track as just something people shouldn't bother buying if they don't like it, rather than something for bother them too much. As always, the debate over whether microtransactions are okay if the items behind them are just cosmetics has been debated.
“The content included in the premium pass is as much or more than some of the 2400+ CoD Point packs in the store right now,” wrote user SuperRSM, “Paying 1100 and playing the game some feel more reasonable to me than many of what is offered in the store.
It's worth noting that the Squid Game event comes with a few store packs in addition to these passes – Pink Guards Tracer Pack, The VIPs Tracer Pack, and Young-hee Tracer Pack. It seems that these prices have not been released yet.
