Zenless Zone Zero saves Christmas longer by fixing a bug that prevented pervy camera angles

With the release of Version 1.4 of Zenless Zonea large selection of major additions and minor changes and fixes have been rolled out to a community of thirsty players. However, it is this thirst that has caused some backlash in recent days, as the update has brought a half-block to certain camera angles that have allowed players to take up-close shots ' of their player avatar.

Members of the Zenless community, finding out about this change, took to social media and Reddit to express their disdain. Crowds of boys from all over the world raised their voices in unison, angry that they could no longer get out near donkeys. This is, apparently, the big bond among Zenless Zone Zero players of all faiths.

Some even pointed to censorship as a possible reason, because they did. Posts on Reddit provided instructions how to complain on the app store about this terrible change. Others offered suggestions how to get those saucy looks without having to turn to external mods. It was a real hullabalooza.

Now, this change was announced as an effort to stop character models from clipping through environments. You see, most characters are small enough to fit nicely into in-game environments, but for characters like Ben who are quite large, it can be a problem. So a good quality of life change, apparently gone wrong.

But, earlier today, HoYover released a statement address some bugs he was aware of, and fixes that were on the way. This included this camera angle change, before giving the following statement, “Fixing an issue in Version 1.4 where the fading effect of the 'Agent' change appears to be reduced when it can be seen from certain angles that did not appear correctly in certain situations.”

So it was indeed a bug, at least according to the developer. As you can imagine, this caused Star Wars Episode 3 style celebration among the community. There was much joy, as Zenless fans were able to go back to their favorite pastimes of looking up skirts and gambling without fear of Big Brother looking over their shoulder. .

So there you have it. Although the camera hasn't been completely returned, it seems to have landed in this nice middle ground between the gooner's pleasure and the intended quality of life setting. As a bonus, the community also gets a bunch of in-game cash as a “I'm sorry” gift courtesy of the devs. With this, peace has returned to the world of Zenless Zone Zero.
